Born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul Brazil in 1980, at the age of 14 Marco Azevedo had his first contacts with the guitar.

He attended private lessons but his biggest commitment was to learn from the records and thus looking for his own way of playing music. At the age of 16, already performing at festivals with groups of different musical styles, he performed on many stages in several cities. His biggest dream come true and achievement was to be able to perform at Teatro São Pedro in Porto Alegre.

With dedication and inspiration to compose songs, Marco was successful in recording his first solo instrumental work at the end of 2017, where he experiences styles ranging from blues, rock, samba and funk, all with hints of improvisation and diversification in timbres.

He also dedicates himself to the technical part of the construction of the guitar performing repair work on his own instruments. His biggest influences are Gilberto Gil, João Bosco, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Wes Montgomery, Scott Henderson, John Scofield and Mike Landau. Currently Marco dedicates his time to studying the art of recordings at his Home Studio Hard Wood Sound where he manufactures guitar pedals and continues with the development of authorial works such as that of his band Fatt Foes and more instrumental compositions.
